  • Our Shivirs

    We have four specially designed Shivirs as per the age group

  • Shivirs are organized as social learning seminar wherein facilitators from the local community come and share their perspective, learning and life experience with the participants.

  • Participants are encouraged to learn basic sutras of Jainism, discuss about the tatv gyan and enjoy the kavya path at the shivirs. Learning environment is extremely conducive for understanding the practical aspects of each tenet as taught by Lord Mahavir. Entire course has been categorized into sutra path, kavya path, tatv gyan and katha path.

  • Shivirs are organized each year during the summer vacation in the month of Jun and is of approx 2.5 hrs daily with 10 minutes of refreshment break.

    The objectives of Shivir are as follows:

    • Inculcate moral values and standards
    • Provide scientific and logical understanding of the religious practices
    • Promote physical hygiene, mindfulness and emotional intelligence
    • Allow participants to have reflective mind
    • Development of right conduct and social behaviour among children
    • Completely Free

      to the students including books, copies, pen, bag etc. and the facility for need-based transportation

    • Multimedia technology

      like projector, presentations is used along with the medium of cartoon films, and stories

    • Professionally managed setup

      to ensure the security, comfort, and motivation of each child.

Jain Sanskar Shivir Samiti is an institution dedicated to the preservation and promotion of religious principles propounded by 24th Jain Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Swami.
